Its 2" x 8" proportions create a refined linear look while preserving the warmth and variation of handmade Mexican clay.

Details & Character
Sapphire Blue Gloss features a saturated sapphire blue glaze with rich jewel-tone depth, subtle color movement, and a reflective glossy surface over an irregular handmade red-clay body. The glossy glazed surface highlights subtle changes in tone, texture, edge character, and reflected light across the installation.
Unlike machine-made subway tile, Tierra Glazed Subway Tile retains visible handmade irregularity. Slight differences between pieces create a more dimensional and individual finished surface.
Its vivid blue color pairs especially well with white, ivory, natural wood, brass, terracotta, and Mediterranean, coastal, or Mexican-inspired interiors.

Tierra tiles are shaped from natural clay, dried, high-fired, glazed, and finished through an artisan process. This gives each piece its irregular surface, glaze movement, edge variation, and handcrafted character.

Tierra High Fired glazed tile is valued for substantial handmade variation. Dry lay and blend tiles before installation to distribute glaze tone, texture, edge detail, and size variation throughout the finished surface.
Tile and grout must be sealed with a compatible penetrating sealer to help resist moisture and stains. Confirm the selected sealer, grout, setting material, and installation method with the product manufacturer and installer.
