The Red and Green Cayenne Chile Ristra hangs approximately 24-inches. It includes about fourteen 7-inch hand painted ceramic red and green cayenne chilies tied together in a rope that is looped at the top for easy hanging.

Be aware that all of our chili ristras are handcrafted. Each chili will have its own unique characteristics - no two chili's are identical. Thus there will be color, size, and design variations compared to the photo shown.

Ristra means string in Spanish. Traditionally ristras are hung near the entrance of the home symbolizing an abundant harvest. They welcome diners and bring life and joy to any kitchen. The ripening stages of the chilies are symbolized on the multicolor chiles strings, from green to red, red being the hottest. They are handmade in Mexico, and have a very realistic finish.
