Its substantial square format, irregular handmade surface, and softly reflective finish bring depth, architectural character, and artisan variation to floors, walls, backsplashes, and feature areas.

Details & Character
Slate Black Low-Luster features a deep charcoal-black glaze with subtle tonal movement and a softly reflective surface over an irregular handmade red-clay body.
Unlike machine-made square tile, Tierra Glazed Field Tile retains visible handmade irregularity. Slight differences in glaze tone, surface texture, edge character, and dimensions create a more dimensional and individual finished installation.
Its dark neutral color pairs especially well with ivory, warm white, natural wood, terra cotta, limestone, brass, aged metals, and colorful handcrafted decorative tile.

Tierra tiles are shaped from natural clay, dried, high-fired, glazed, and finished through an artisan process. This gives each tile its individual surface movement, glaze variation, edge character, and handcrafted appearance.

Low-luster glazed surfaces should be protected from harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, acids, bleach, and mineral-rich water that may affect the finish.
