Ristra means string in Spanish. Traditionally ristras are hung near the entrance of the home symbolizing an abundant harvest. They welcome diners and bring life and joy to any kitchen. The ripening stages of the chilies are symbolized on the multicolor chiles strings, from green to red, red being the hottest. They are handmade in Mexico, and have a very realistic finish. These are of the highest quality ceramic chile ristras available in the market. These ristras bring the perfect addition to a Southwest or Mexican style decor for any home kitchen or patio.
