The Garlic Ristra hangs approximately 16-inches. It includes about eighteen 2-inch hand painted ceramic garlics tied together in a rope that is looped at the top for easy hanging.
Ristra means string in Spanish. Traditionally ristras are hung near the entrance of the home symbolizing an abundant harvest. They welcome diners and bring life and joy to any kitchen. The ripening stages of the chilies are symbolized on the multicolor chiles strings, from green to red, red being the hottest. They are handmade in Mexico, and have a very realistic finish.
